It’s Over Now (Acoustic) started as Lane’s song completely. His voice, his words, his melody, his guitar, and his emotion from a real recording he made years ago during one of the hardest chapters of our lives.
When we found that old recording again, Lane finally got to see his original vision through by turning it into a completed full rock track. That version gave the song the power and shape it always had hiding inside it.
Then I took it one step further.
I stripped it down, pulled it into an orchestral acoustic space, and let the raw emotion sit right in front where you can’t run from it. No armor. No wall of sound. Just the weight he was carrying, finally loud enough to feel.
This version isn’t replacing the rock version. It’s showing the wound underneath it.
And somehow… years later… it found its voice again.
